Imad Jaraisy – Chief Executive Officer

Imad is a doctoral student in education at University of Haifa. He joined the Injaz Center as a project manager in 2014, and in 2017 he was appointed director of team and programs at Injaz. In November 2021, Imad was appointed CEO of the Injaz Center.

 During his work in Injaz, Imad managed number of projects in the field of economic development and education through the professional committees managed by the Injaz Center that formulated professional recommendations for government decision 550 and monitored the implementation of government decisions of Arab society (922; 550). In addition, Imad worked to strengthen the cooperation between the Injaz Center and the Committee of heads of Arab local municipalities, civil society organizations, government ministries, and professionals.

In the past, Imad served as Parliamentary Adviser on education and local government to former MK Dr. Yosef Jabarin. Today, he is a lecturer at the Oranim Academic College of Education, and he was previously a lecturer at the Beit- Birl Academic College.

Imad’s research focuses on the role of education in divided societies and conflicts, in youth movements and in informal educational frameworks in Palestinian society in Israel. His doctoral dissertation discusses the role of education in the development trajectory of a leading elite in Palestinian Arab society in Israel in three arenas: youth movements, local government, and civil society.

Misloon Sliman – Financial and administrative director

Misloon is a financial and administrative director of Injaz Center since 2009. She holds a master’s degree in non-profit organization management from University of Haifa.

Misloon’s main responsibilities are building the general budget of the organization, planning and building the project’s budgets and managing the project’s budgets in collaboration with the project managers. She is also responsible for maintaining relationships with donors.

Laila Swaid – Project Manager

Laila is a project manager who joined Injaz at the beginning of 2021. said holds a bachelor’s degree in law from the University of Haifa, and in 2017 she received her license to practice law from the Israel Bar Association. In addition, she holds a master’s degree in urban and regional planning from the Technion Institute in Haifa. Laila worked for four years in a private planning office before joining Injaz

Lina Muslih - Media Coordinator

Social Media and Forum Manager for the CEOs and the spokespersons of Arab Local Authorities.

Lina holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Communication, and a master’s degree in Public Administration and Policy with a specialization in Local Government, as part of the “Cadets for Local Government” program at the University of Haifa.

She brings with her extensive and diverse experience in the fields of communication and digital marketing, along with up-to-date and in-depth knowledge.

Over the past two years, Lina served as the Social Media Communications Manager at the Galilee Medical Center in Nahariya. As part of her master’s studies, she completed her practicum at the Majd al-Krum Local Council, where she was responsible for content editing for the municipality’s official website.

Areej Nassra - Project Manager

A graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work specializing in Policy Change Practice, and a Master’s degree in Public Administration and Policy specializing in Local Governance from the University of Haifa—also a graduate of the Cadets for Local Government program by the Ministry of Interior. Additionally, Arij recently completed a second Master’s degree in Urban and Regional Planning from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and was a fellow of the Urban Clinic at the university.

Arij managed the field of organizational, economic, and strategic development at the Majd al-Krum Local Council for the past five years. During her work, she led organizational processes, management routines, and internal and external operations, in addition to managing the implementation of Government Plans 922 and 550 at the council. She was also responsible for the emergency system and in charge of employing people with disabilities in the authority.

Arij is a partner in providing training and support services for emergency teams in Arab local authorities, under the leadership of the Committee of Arab Local Authorities’ Heads and Al-Bayader Company for Economic and Social Development.
